Emily is licensed to practice law in Nevada, California and Arizona. Her main practice areas as an attorney are small business transactions, family law and real estate transactions. Some of the primary areas of family law are joint and contested divorces, custody modifications and child support. She also does real estate transactions, representing property owners, drafting leases and drafting contracts for people selling property without a real estate agent. In the small business transactions her emphasis is on drafting business contracts and contract negotiations, business set up and corporate formations, particularly for businesses dealing with entertainment and the arts. She also has experience in areas such as estate planning, probate, and immigration.

In addition to being an attorney, Emily is a certified mediator. She is the author of several children's books and was the operator of an Internet publishing company. She is also a country and jazz music singer. Emily loves to travel. Her most recent excursions were to India, Belize, and Guatemala. Emily has lived overseas in Germany, Hungary, England and Greece as well as in New Hampshire, Ohio, California, Hawaii, Massachusetts and Missouri.
