Professional Biography

Richard Harris is the managing partner at Harris Injury Lawyers. Widely regarded by his peers, Rick is regularly consulted by other lawyers for his expertise in personal injury law.

Rick graduated from Western High School in Las Vegas before earning a degree cum laude in Communications from Brigham Young University. While attending McGeorge School of Law, in Sacramento, California, he worked as a law clerk intern for the Chief Justice of the Nevada Supreme Court. After graduating from law school, Rick`s first job was with criminal defense attorney and current Las Vegas mayor, Oscar Goodman. With his determination and strong work ethic, Rick soon built his own practice and enjoyed years of success before partnering with Randall Mainor in 1993 to form Mainor Harris.

As a skilled negotiator, Rick has settled several of the largest personal injury cases in Nevada, earning him membership in the prestigious Million Dollar Advocates Forum. Rick served on the Board of Governors of the Nevada Trial Lawyers Association. He is also the author of "About Your Vehicle Damage Claim," a publication used by personal injury lawyers throughout the country. A resident of Nevada for over 30 years, Rick enjoys time with his family, off-roading, hiking and snow skiiing.
